Water Clocks

Oqua – Water Clocks are designed for people who want to calm down instead of being stressed when looking at the clock. The sound of rippling water and the natural impression of the wooden cubes contribute to a pleasant atmosphere. The clocks consist of two different sized cubes. The big one describes a 12-hour period, the small one a 60-minute period. In combination you can read the current time through the water level on a scale. The visible water tanks are filled via pump at intervals of 15min and 60s. After 12 hours or 60 minutes the full tank is emptied into a collecting vessel by utilizing the siphon effect. The hoses and containers form a closed circuit. From the outside you can turn the clock on and off. To set the time you can open the clock and trigger 15 minute or 60 second flushes manually. The exact time can be checked on the computer via a micro-USB interface.
